Brad Pitt doesn't want to play a Washington reporter after all. Universal Pictures announced that the blond half of Brangelina has dropped out of the Beltway-based political drama "State of Play." Pitt abruptly quit early yesterday after two weeks of battling director Kevin Macdonald ("Last King of Scotland") over the script, sources say.
